Description:

A comprehensive emergency alert system and mass notifications system, suitable for businesses, governments, and schools, is available through this software platform. It allows administrators, organizational users, and emergency personnel to effectively communicate emergency information, resulting in improved dissemination of information and reduced response time.

During an alert, users have the ability to share relevant emergency information including their GPS coordinates, text, audio, and photo information. They can also classify the type of emergency. Users can directly communicate with administrators and emergency personnel through chat and even share a live audio connection. Administrators and emergency personnel receive the emergency alerts through push notifications and can communicate directly with users.

Users can also receive notifications for emergency incidents triggered by other users on-campus or off-campus. Each site is geofenced to ensure that the respective parties receive critical and timely emergency alert notifications.

The software platform has several notable features including:

 <li>Allows users to communicate alerts and GPS coordinates to administrators and law enforcement within their organization</li>
 <li>Enables administrators to initiate an organization-wide lockdown efficiently by notifying users and law enforcement through SMS and email</li>
 <li>Facilitates group communication between users, administrators, and law enforcement via a group chat portal, group audio portal, and one-way video stream</li>
 <li>Empowers administrators and law enforcement to assess the emergency status of organizational users by providing access to the users' safety status requests, location, and critical information through the mobile application or SMS</li>
 <li>Allows administrators and law enforcement to view previous alerts, alert messages, and user locations initiated by organizational users</li>
 <li>Offers all users the ability to receive specific emergency broadcast messages and photos from administrators and law enforcement through SMS and email. Users can also respond to these messages via SMS reply and comment on them, providing bi-directional dialogue in a mass broadcast notification scenario</li>
 <li>Enables users to upload and view site-specific emergency materials</li>
 <li>Allows users to export alerts, messages, and broadcast messages with text and photos</li>
 <li>Includes an Apple Watch App for users to view ongoing alerts and broadcast notifications</li>
 <li>The web application supports all the aforementioned features and has been tested to handle thousands of incoming and outgoing alerts, chat messages, and broadcasts during large-scale incidents</li>
